The spacious (14.1") high-definition BrightView widescreen lets you view 30% more on your screen than the standard 15" display, and the 16:10 aspect ratio easily positions two pages side by side. The Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics card delivers exceptionally realistic visuals and stellar multimedia. The integrated Altec Lansing speakers supply high-quality audio; you adjust the volume by swiping your finger across a strip on the keyboard. The V3000T comes with one stereo headphone jack; stereo earbud headphones (optional) let you and a friend enjoy music without annoying those around you.

Boot the boot-up
The Compaq Presario V3000T features the latest version of QuickPlay 2.1 for starting DVDs and MP3 files, plus accessing your photos, in seconds. An optional remote control, which can be stored in the ExpressCard slot, lets you use QuickPlay from up to 10 feet away. If you select a SuperMulti DVD±RW/R drive, you can turn your pictures into movies with muvee autoProducer, or edit video and create CDs and DVDs with Sonic MyDVD. Go a step further by choosing the LightScribe option (now 33 percent faster) on the SuperMulti DVD+/RW/R drive to laser-etch labels on your discs.

Connectivity choices
Use the HP xb3000 Notebook Expansion Base (sold separately) to connect the V3000t to peripherals (e.g., a monitor), for a true desktop experience. Other ports include two USB 2.0, an RJ-11, an RJ-45 and an S-Video. You also get an ExpressCard/54 slot plus integrated 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN and Bluetooth (optional).
